Sis. Anna has been a member of Saint Paul AMEC in Dickerson, MD for over 50 years.  During that time she held the following positions: Missionary President for 18 years, Licentiate, and member of the Steward Board, Trustees Board, Benevolence Committee, Stewardship and Finance Committee, and the Financial Secretary and Treasurer. As President of the Ambush, Naylor and Harris Missionary Society, she was instrumental with the missionaries in the following, but not limited to: developing and implementing continual college scholarships for high school youth in the Frederick community; developing and maintaining a monthly Medicine Ministry to help those who need assistance; volunteering at the Beacon House for Men – witnessing and serving food; volunteering at the Faith House for Women – held Bible Study; volunteering for Hospice; supporting the Maryland Sheriff Boy’s Ranch, The Alan P. Linton Emergency Cold Weather Shelter, and the New Girls for Life Program; donating monetary gifts to Bethel AME in Peoria, South Africa and AME-SADA; sending Hygiene Kits and Baby Kits were sent to foreign countries that faced natural disaster, violence or poverty; shipping 1,000 bars of soap to Haiti; shipping items oversea to our troops fighting on the battlefield; visiting the sick, and has helped with utility bills, rental assistance, etc.

For eight years she served as the Second Vice President and currently the Area Chairperson of the Allawadrick Area Missionary Society.  On the Conference level, she has served on several commissions.

Sis. Anna recently retired as a Health Insurance Specialist for the Department of Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, formerly the Health Care Finance Administration in Baltimore, Maryland where she was employed for 40 years.  Also, for 15 years, she has worked part-time at Westat, an independent research company located in Rockville, Maryland. She was born and raised in the Frederick, Maryland.  She has two sons and two grandchildren.  Her favorite scripture verse is: Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me."
