Union Bethel Randallstown Missionaries Working Together to Make Wishes Come True

The missionaries and associates of the Lillian M. Dorsey Women's Missionary Society of Union Bethel AME Church in Randallstown, MD gathered together on Saturday, December 14th to compile and sort Christmas gifts for families in need. They coordinated a church-wide effort consisting of numerous ministries to provide gifts for their Annual Christmas Wish List Project. In 2019, the Christmas Wish List project provided gifts to 35 families which consisted of 103 children and 31 adults.

The families were from two local Elementary Schools and the Night of Peace Family Shelter in Windsor Mill, MD. Most families picked up their gifts that day and were impressed with the generosity of the congregation. For the families who were unable to retrieve their gifts, the gifts were delivered to the schools and shelter. The missionaries also assembled fruit and gift baskets for our members who were experiencing health challenges. It was a very fulfilling day of service as we made wishes come true for the Randallstown community.
