On Saturday, December 21, 2019, Mt. Moriah, Mt. Pisgah, Payne Memorial and Union Bethel-Randallstown answered Jesus’ call to “Feed his sheep” (John 21:17, KJV) by hosting the annual “Taking It To The Streets” Outreach Project..
In attendance were our Matilda Monroe Area Chairperson, Sister Pamela Sembly of Union Bethel; Mt. Moriah’s President, Sister Patricia Edmond; Mt. Pisgah’s President, Sister Liz Smithay; Payne Memorial’s President, Sister Stephanie Bonner; and a host of missionaries and associates. The event was held at the Stanton Community Center in Annapolis, MD from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The missionaries provided new and gently used men's, women's and children's clothing, shoes, purses, coats, personal care bags, blankets and shopping bags to many local community members. It was noted by the missionaries that this year’s attendance by the community members was greatly increased from the previous year. Praise God!
Along with the clothing provided, the wonderful missionaries of Mt. Moriah prepared and served a delicious spaghetti lunch with beverages and healthy snacks to provide nourishment for the community members’ bodies. For the nourishing of their souls, New Testament Bibles were included in the Personal Care Bags.
We believe that the instruction given by Jesus to feed his sheep was met by the missionaries and enjoyed by the community members. Not only were the community members blessed, but we the missionaries were also blessed and thankful to be in positions to help our fellow brothers and sisters.
Giving all Honor, Praise and Glory to God!!!
