Sis. Shelia has been a member of Campbell African Methodist Episcopal Church since 1993.  She is the 1st Vice President of the Lucille E. Dale Missionary Society and has served at Campbell in many different capacities.  She is a member of Stewardess Board No. 1, Lay Organization, REACH Coordinator, secretary for Official Board meetings and has also served as 1st Vice President under Sis. Jeanette S. Hite.  In the past she has been a member of the Mother’s Club, Trustee Board and served as Women’s Day Co-Chair.

Sis. Shelia is gifted with excellent computer and administrative skills which truly is a plus in her position as Executive Coordinator in Single Family Housing for Freddie Mac.  She has prepared many programs for Campbell and is currently the creator and editor of “Missionary on the Move” newsletter which highlights all the events of the Lucille E. Dale Missionary Society.

Sis. Sheila is a native Floridian born in Panama City, Florida.  She is the eighth child born to Mr. & Mrs. Joe V. Clayton.  She is also active in her community serving as secretary of the Fort Washington Tantallon Square Area Civic Association.  A position she has held for many years.

Sis. Shelia possesses a servant heart.  She has been involved in many activities in helping others.  She enjoys volunteering with Each One Feed One in helping to feed the homeless.  She has a special love for the elderly and loves spending time and helping them with whatever needs to be done.  Sis. Shelia truly feels they are the “forgotten” generation and believes that one of the reasons we are here on earth is to be a blessing to someone else. Her favorite scripture is: Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
