Sister Ebony Spiller has been a member of Union Bethel AME Church in Randallstown, MD since the age of 6. Growing up AME, she was always active in various ministries including Youth Choir, Junior Usher Board, Church School, Acolytes, and YPD. As a YPDer, she served in many capacities on the Local, Conference and District levels. Her strong foundation in the AME church has been built on the YPD and it has prepared her for serving in all areas in the church. As a YPDer, she served in many capacities on the Local, Conference, and District levels, including WCB 1st Vice President, 3rd Vice President, and Parliamentarian. She also had the opportunity to serve as a 2nd District YPD Delegate to the 2015 and 2019 YPD Quadrennial Conventions. The YPD left Sis. Ebony well prepared for the transition to the WMS.

In 2019, she joined the Lillian M. Dorsey Women's Missionary Society at Union Bethel. For the 2023-2024 conference year, she was appointed as the 1st Vice President of the Youth and Young Adult Ministry at Union Bethel. She currently serves as a church school pre-school and elementary school teacher. She is a member of the Lay Organization and served as a youth delegate to the 2020 General Conference and will be serving at the 2024 General Conference as well. She is a member of the Junior Board of Stewards at Union Bethel and will also serve as the Director of Christian Education. She is a helping hand in any and every place she is needed in and out of church.

In her profession, Sis. Ebony works as a STEM Planning Assistant at Building Engineering and Science Talent (BEST), in partnership with the Department of Defense STEM Education Consortium. She works alongside Morgan State University, in Baltimore, with STEM programs for underrepresented students in grades K-12. Through her involvement in the many areas of the AME Church, Sis. Ebony is continuing to Grow, Glow, and Go for Christ.
