Stephanie Gilliard, YPD Director

Stephanie Gilliard  serves as the Washington Conference YPD Director.  She was elevated to this role position in August 2022.She served as the CCH Area YPD Director.   She is a member at Kingdom Fellowship AME Church where she helps with the youth ministry.  

 

Sister Stephanie Gilliard was formally a member of Metropolitan AME Church in Washington DC where she served as the YPD Director. During  her tenure,  there were more than 70 youth on role. Prior to coming to the second episcopal district sister Stephanie Gilliard served as the 1st Vice President for the 7th Episcopal District of the YPD under the leadership of the Right Reverend Frederick Calhoun James.  She is a staunch advocate of YPD.

Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
